The 10th-11th of December a project meeting was held in Aberdeen. The first day was an internal project meeting for the partners. The second day was a workshop where the transferability of the DANS Model was in focus.
One of the workshops was an “ICT innovation best practice” and was held by the Aberdeen City Council. The participants got an hour interactive demo session of “Code the City”. “Code The City” was a civic hacking initiative that was held in Aberdeen earlier in October, where a group of volunteers got together and built new tools and services to help people in the community, access existing services and start new ones. The DANS ON partners could easily see how “Code the City” generates brilliant ideas for digital innovation using the DANS Model.
- It was a good meeting in Aberdeen, and it moved us forward in the project. We got to see and hear many good and inspiring DANS ON Model transfer stories that showed us how the DANS Model can be used in many various ways, say Paul Nemes, the County Administrative Board of Värmland.
